Keep these things in mind for Indoor Succulent plants :
Light Requirements : Indoor succulents usually prefer bright, indirect sunlight. They can thrive in areas like near windowsills where they can receive several hours of sunlight per day. Some varieties may tolerate lower light conditions, but they may not grow as vigorously or may become leggy over time.
Watering : Since indoor environments tend to have lower humidity levels and less air circulation, indoor succulents should be watered less frequently compared to outdoor succulents. It’s essential to allow the soil to dry out between watering to prevent root rot.
Temperature & Sunlight : Most indoor succulents prefer temperatures between 12°C to 30°C. These plants should be placed in locations where they are shielded from drafts and protected against extreme fluctuations (rapid changes) in temperature.
Indoor succulents typically require several hours of direct sunlight or bright, indirect light each day to thrive. Ideally, they should receive at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily to maintain their health and appearance. However, the exact amount of sunlight needed can vary depending on the species of succulent and its specific requirements.
While succulents are known for their ability to tolerate high light conditions, it’s essential to strike a balance, especially for indoor plants. Too much direct sunlight, particularly during the hottest part of the day, can lead to sunburn or heat stress. Conversely, inadequate light can result in leggy growth and poor overall health.
Humidity : Indoor succulents generally prefer lower humidity levels, so they may not thrive in very humid environments unless there’s adequate airflow.
Almost all Succulents require some level of sunlight to survive and thrive so don’t put them in a Dark room. While certain low-light-tolerant species may adapt to dimmer conditions, they typically won’t thrive in completely dark environments.
Some Succulent plants are compatible for both the Indoor and Outdoor conditions, so please read plant description for more details available on each plant page. On this page we mentioned plants which are more suitable for Indoor condition.
