Kalanchoe ‘Pinnata’ Succulent Plant

Kalanchoe pinnata, commonly known as “air plant,” “cathedral bells,” or “life plant,” is a succulent plant species native to Madagascar, but it has also spread to other tropical regions around the world. It belongs to the Crassulaceae family. This plant is characterized by its fleshy, paddle-shaped leaves that are often serrated along the edges and arranged in opposite pairs along the stems. The leaves have a grayish-green color and can turn reddish-purple when exposed to stress or sunlight.

Kalanchoe pinnata produces clusters of small, tubular, bell-shaped flowers that can be white, yellow, orange, or pink, depending on the variety. The flowers are usually borne on tall, upright stems above the foliage. Kalanchoe pinnata is popular as a houseplant or outdoor ornamental in warmer climates. It prefers well-draining soil, bright indirect light, and moderate watering.
